Shraddha has always projected a great work ethic and is always keen to help team members. Here is more about her qualities on the BCAPS parameters:

Being Curious:

When Shraddha was onboarded on our latest project, the team thought she will take time to understand the system. But curiosity to understand the system, process and client expectations prepared her to handle the requirements independently. She was able to do impact analysis and solution independently without missing out on any points (almost covered everything)

Customer Centricity:

The project was initially given to us, but due to government compliance issues (from the client’s side), the project was revoked and given to another government-authorized vendor. The customer had pinged Shraddha stating that even though work has started with a new vendor, but your presence is missed. As shraddha was able to understand the requirement and relate to customer pain points and challenges; she was able to provide appropriate solutions to them, which created great value for the customer and such great feedback.

Accountability:

She had applied for leave 2 months earlier and it was approved by the manager. But at the last moment, the sales forecasting went live as planned on the same dates. She understood her responsibility and decide to support the team by not going on leave. She was available for team and client at any point of time (almost 24 X 7) and also on weekends.  She always shows a sense of responsibility by taking complete ownership of tasks assigned to her

Perseverance:

For sales forecasting, initially, the requirement was closed at a high level. But when we started BRD and detailed discussion with the customer. A lot of CRs were discussed, which she highlighted to customer point and again. So she had many rounds of discussion with the customer to built alignment on CR. Shraddha provided a Proposal to BRD mapping document reflecting proposal scope and BRD scope which highlighted CRs. With continuous discussion and proper documentation, the client had to finally agree to these CRs

Stewardship:

She helps in streamlining the BA interview process. She also prepared skill set wise questions which can be used in BA interview by other BAs. Identification of skills required in BA – Have to evaluate particular skill – And questions to be asked to evaluate each skill set.

Shraddha shared her experience, interests, and more in an interview we recently conducted with her. This is what she had to say after becoming the BCAPS Star

How did you start your journey at Neebal?

I started my journey as a Quality Assurance Intern in 2016 and in 2017 I was given the opportunity to explore the Business Analyst role.

What would you say has been your greatest accomplishment?
A few months back I was working on a project and due to some internal conflicts at the client end the project was moved to initial vendors however, once the project development restarted with the other vendor the senior officer leading the project texted me expressing how he missed working with Neebal and the quality of work that we delivered couldn’t be matched or replaced by anyone else. I feel listening to such a review from the client is one of my greatest accomplishment so far. Also, I believe accomplishment has many factors and its not only limited to being appreciated or completing a difficult task, like in my entire journey with Neebal I was earned the trust of my peers and I have also made some great friends who are no less than family now.

What motivates you? OR What motivates you to go above and beyond at work?
When I see that the work I am doing is making a difference, solving problems and generating value it really motivates me.

Who inspires you? Who are your role models or mentors?
My Parents are my Number 1 role models and mentors in life and when it comes to working the list is too long because in these last 5 years I have had the opportunity to work with a different set of teams and people and each person has some of the other quality that inspires me. If I had to name my constant inspiration or role models that it would be PD and our CEO but in this last 1 year if there is someone that has had a great impact on me then that is Dhvani Maru, I have learnt from her what Being Strong actually means and how to stay calm and positive while dealing with situations, I really admire her for that and also look forward to learning new things from her.

What are the activities/value systems that made you achieve this great milestone?
To be honest, I feel I have not done anything extraordinary or different to achieve this milestone, but I do believe that when it comes to working you should really give your 100% no matter how big or small the task is.

How do you deal with stress in life and at work?
If I feel too stressed I divert myself by watching a movie or series, I enjoy watching stand up comedy and it really does lift my mood after a hectic day of work.

What advice would you give someone that is just starting out?
Enjoy the roller-coaster and take one day at a time.
I had seen a post sometime back which I really like and feel is helpful, it says everything shifts and becomes clear if you replace Why is this happening to me? What is this trying to teach me?

What is one characteristic that you believe every <engineer/sales personnel/programmer> should possess?
I believe being honest to your work is something everyone should possess, it strengths your relationship with your clients/team/peers and also brings a sense of trust.

What has your experience at Neebal been like so far?
It’s been great! Neebal has always been a family rather than a workplace to me and has always given me the opportunity to grow, the freedom to make mistakes and learn from them. I believe what makes Neebal different is its uniformity, there is no boss-employee relationship, no one is superior or inferior, everyone works as one single unit and has the freedom to voice their opinions. Every journey has its up’s and downs and even I have had my share of highs and lows but taking one day at a time and constant support from your team and peers makes it easier to deal with situations.

What are the 3 most played songs in your playlist?
Illahi, Swim – Dizzy, Faded – Alan Walker

What’s the best book you’ve read this year?
I haven’t read any book this year, but I do want to start reading “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki and “Start with Why” by Simon Sinek

Your all-time favourite series/movie?
There are a lot of series and movies that I like but “F.R.I.E.N.D.S” and “The Office” are on top of the list.

How do you relate your responsibilities to Neebal’s goals?
My responsibilities majorly focus on understanding the client’s pain points and help them with the right solutions. Providing value and quality to the customer and creating an environment where every team member understands and imbibes this is something Neebal also focuses on.

What is your relationship with your team and how do they affect your work? OR How important is being a part of a team?
My relationship with my team is very cordial, everyone is very helpful. I have learnt a lot from the people I have worked with or currently working with and feel they all have had a positive impact on my work.

What do you like most about working at Neebal?
The People! I think Neebal has a great set of individuals and leaders, you get to learn a lot from them not only in terms or work but any situation that you are going through. And also the Culture and Values that Neebal has built and the way it makes sure that employees understand the importance of those values and approach them in their day to day life and work is amazing. Neebal has always made sure that every employee gets a chance to learn and explore new things and come out of their comfort zones.

What’s your proudest professional accomplishment?
One achievement that brings me immense joy is winning the BCAPS Champ of the Quarter award a few years ago. During that time, our CEO took the opportunity to meet my parents and express his appreciation for their support, highlighting how they have been the backbone of my success. My parents still cherish that day and feel proud, making it my proudest professional accomplishment to date.
