Abhijit, our BCAPS Star for July 2021 has always projected a great work ethic and is always keen to help team members. Here is more about his qualities on the BCAPS parameters:

Being Curious:

In the month of July, Abhijit has worked for the Formulation Source Addition project as a senior developer. He led the project throughout from the server side with Aditi helping him with UI. This project in itself had a lot of challenges right from underestimation, unclear approach, technical challenges, new members onboard, unrealistic timelines etc. Being a server-side developer he learned Handson table UI along with Aditi and Devendra as per the requirement of the project. He has a great passion to keep learning and improving. He is very prompt and is always seeking out opportunities to try something new or different. He had been working under AMC for the last 2 years and just 3 months back he started with development projects but his task execution planning, team mentoring, leadership qualities are recommendable. His curiosity keeps him motivated, he never says a NO to any problem, he always takes it as a challenge and tries to achieve the hardest of impossible

Customer Centricity:

With his AMC experience, he understands the customer. He understands his client focuses on detailing and hence he ensured all UAT and demo builds are reviewed minutely to capture all details so that there is minimal UAT feedback. He discusses the approaches with TO multiple times if he feels the queries can impact the performance of the portal or give a bad user experience, Many queries are optimized by him, even email code so that processing happens faster and there is not much of a wait time

Accountability:

Accountability of each task under the project, being an active member in the scrum to help others with their doubts, providing instant help to BA and QA, working extended hours and connecting through the phone even while the laptop had crashed. He is the backbone of the project.

Perseverance:

Taking failures as a learning curve, keeping no setbacks of ongoing challenges, he kept trying continuously to ensure the project was completed with good quality in a timely manner. It is because of his hard work and dedication, we were able to complete such a difficult project through the original timeline and the quality was met.

Stewardship:

Project Learning and knowledge documents are created to share handover with AMC team once the project goes live. The project was delivered without much delay. Abhijit mentored Rushikesh and Divya and they all worked together delivered the project on time.

Abhijit shared his experience, interests, and more in an interview we recently conducted with him. This is what he had to say after becoming the BCAPS Star

How did you start your journey at Neebal?

I started my journey in Neebal by college placement. Where I gave an interview for Software Tester but was not able to crack the interview at that time. Then again after some time I tried again and applied for the Software Developer post for which I was interested. After the interview, I was got selected as Trainee Software Engineer. And that’s how my journey started at Neebal.

Who inspires you? Who are your role models or mentors?
