We conducted a small interview to know more about Ramakshi’s journey, but before that, let’s see how she did on the BCAPS parameters according to his team-members.
Being Curious:
Ramakshi is working on the Cipla Project independently. As BA, we are looking forward to tracking User Stories on Youtrack. Without been pushed or instructed, she took the initiative to understand how to map user stories on Youtrack and started practicing in her project. This shows she is curious to understand new things, how it would help Neebal as Organization, and take responsibility to implement it in her project. Amongst all the projects on the floor, Cipla & Subsidex are the only projects where User Stories are tracked through Youtrack.
Customer Centricity:
She has been coordinating and interacting with Cipla Customer for quite some time. Since, it’s a TnM project, scope & deliveries are dynamic in nature. Due to this managing the requirement & delivery wasn’t process-driven. She ensured there is no compromise on requirement scope, deliveries & quality due to the dynamic nature. Also, she started a conversation with the client to streamline the process of requirements & deliveries. Now the customer is aligned with the processes of Sprint Planning, Backlog Scrubbing, etc.
Accountability:
She takes complete accountability of tasks assigned to her. She would not ask just questions, but she will find her ways and options, post complete analysis she will get back to you with her suggestions and questions, which helps in reducing the multiple rounds of discussion and faster decision making. She was aligned for taking sessions for newly joined BAs (BA Induction). She has taken complete accountability of the process that needs to be followed by Induction. She has created a formal induction PPT for her session. She ensures induction is done in 1-2 days. (No other BAs are focused on Induction)
Perseverance:
She was aligned for taking BA Interviews. As this was her first time, she had spent good efforts to understand what kind of questions and case studies to ask during the interview. After all these efforts also, the first interview that she took, she was confused about whether to hire or reject. So, we had a joint interview round with the candidate, then she understood what questions needed to be asked and how to evaluate the candidate. Now she can independently take the interview and evaluate the candidate well.
Stewardship:
She took the initiative to nominate at least 1 team member for BCAPS every month to recognize their efforts and keep them motivated. She also prepares document or ppt for any new activities assigned to her (kind of SOP), so that others can refer to the same Example – BA induction PPT, BA Interview Case Studies
This is what Ramakshi said in her interview
