Harshit Pagaria, Neebal’s May BCAPS Star, is always looking for opportunities to learn something new. He has shown constant dedication and outdoes himself when it comes to delivering the best for our clients.
- Being Curious:
Harshit exhibits Neebal’s ”Be the the Doctor” philosophy which encourages all at Neebal to analyze the prima facie facts and probe deeper to uncover pain points the customers may be unaware of. His curiosity to dig deeper enables him to analyze the situations with an open mind from different perspectives giving him a unique vantage point.
Harshit is always curious to explore how we can better a product to bring about maximum benefits to the client. This drove him to reach out to product stakeholders for devising a way to improve the effectiveness of product reports. Harshit suggested certain tweaks, which though simple, provided much help to the field officers in consuming the reports. - Customer Centricity:
Harshit has always put customers’ interest first. While brainstorming for solutions and features to include, analysts and product owners tend to get obsessed with “creating a feature” or “finding a solution” but that does not always solve the customers’ issues. Harshit always asks the right questions such as “how does the solution solve the problem at hand” or “will this make life easy for the customer or confuse them further?”
While brainstorming for the FieldXpress solution for creating a beat plan, various aspects were being considered, and not all viable. Harshit put himself in the customer’s shoes and developed a solution from their perspective.
- Accountability:
Harshit is very dependable and once any task is assigned to him, one can rest assured it will be completed effectively.
While working on the DFPCL demo of the FieldXpress module, Harshit ensured that all the team members’ doubts were addressed. He tested the product inside out, engaged with the development team for issue resolutions, and created the test data to be showcased to the client. Harshit has shown his dedication by working on weekends and multiple nights when required.
- Perseverance:
Harshit’s perseverance and never-give-up attitude enable him to find the right solutions.
There were errors in the statistics that were computed for showcasing Subsidex benefits for Chambal Fertilizers. While presenting the data to the client there was a misalignment in the aspect of PoS sales growth. The team struggled to find the error and this task was later entrusted to Harshit. He analyzed the data from multiple perspectives. While he hit several dead-ends in his analysis, he never gave up. He finally uncovered that the data that was being used for computations was inaccurate and there were discrepancies in the data downloaded from the source. Not only did Harshit rectify the data errors in the presentation, but also solved issues pertaining to other reports sent to the client.
- Stewardship:
Harshit has tremendous leadership qualities. His attitude of taking the team along has enabled him to bring the overall knowledge level of the team high.
While working on the FieldXpress PRD/BRD, he ensured that the smallest of the details were documented. He identified structural gaps in the templates and plugged them. He provided multiple walkthroughs of the same to the development team and ensured the requirements are well understood and nothing is left to individual comprehension. Harshit’s proactiveness and going beyond the call of duty to get things done in the right manner has helped create a very strong platform for FieldXpress module of Subsidex.
Harshit shared his experience, interests, and more in an interview we recently conducted with him. This is what he had to say after becoming the BCAPS Star-
